The PXG Tour Series Fat Brandon putter

Where the original Brandon offers a soft, rounded blade shape and the Brandon II features a more squared silhouette, the Fat Brandon pushes into wider territory, giving players who like the clean lines of a blade a little more margin for error.

The head combines a fully milled 303 stainless steel body with a lightweight aluminum sole plate. By using aluminum on the bottom instead of steel, designers were able to save about 30 grams of weight from the center and shift it to the perimeter, elevating the putter’s moment of inertia (MOI) and making it more resistant to twisting on off-center hits.

The Tour Series Fat Brandon has a wide look at address and a milled face for a crisp feel at impact.

The shallow fly-cut milling pattern across the face provides firm, responsive feedback, while the high-contrast sightline and framed ballasts at address help with alignment.

The plumber’s neck hosel produces a mid-toe hang, which will suit golfers who have an arced putting stroke. As with other Tour Series models, interchangeable sole weights give fitters and players the ability to fine-tune head weight and balance, dialing in feel to counteract common tendencies like pushes or pulls. PXG’s Dancing Darkness Skull insignia, a nod to founder Bob Parsons’ days in the United States Marine Corps, adds a touch of personality that sets the series apart visually.
