Tiger Woods' putter tells the story, 2025 equipment
As Tiger Woods turns 50, his Scotty Cameron putter tells the story of a career filled with work and dedication.
David DusekAs hard as it is to believe that another year is coming to a close, it's even less believable that Tiger Woods turns 50 today. The millions of shots he's hit, the countless hours in the gym and a lifetime of travel have taken a toll on Woods' body, but I count myself lucky to have seen some of his biggest wins in person. Not all of them, but I was at Bethpage in 2002, Augusta National in 2005, Royal Liverpool in 2006, Torrey Pines in 2008 and again at Augusta National in 2019. I've also been fortunate to go through his gear, get in-hand photos of his clubs over the years and come to understand a few things about what he likes, what he looks for, and what he demands from his equipment.

No club in Tiger's bag has been as revered or studied as closely as his putter, a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS. Like Tiger himself, it shows the effects of age and years of use, and to me, is the greatest testament to his work ethic and consistency.
If you want to take a deeper look into Tiger Woods' equipment through the years, Golfweek can help with that, too.
And finally, with Release Season 2026 right around the corner, it's time to take one last look at the gear that was released in 2025. Many of the great woods and irons listed below are now on sale, so if you are looking to save some money after the holidays, take with a good custom fitter about these drivers and irons.
A Happy New Year to everyone, and may 2026 bring you birdies.
