Mixed-team golf is back for the third edition.
The 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational kicks off Friday in Naples, Florida, at Tiburon Golf Club. Some of the top players from the PGA Tour will team with those on the LPGA for a three-day competition at the site of last month's CME Group Tour Championship.
This year’s field has a combined 137 LPGA Tour and PGA Tour career victories, with nine of those wins coming in 2025. There are 10 major champions in the field, including this year’s U.S. Women’s Open victor. Seven countries will be represented. Both past champions, Jason Day and Lydia Ko in 2023, along with Jake Knapp and Patty Tavatanakit in 2024, are back.
The professionals will compete in a different format each day, including scramble, foursomes and a modified four-ball format. The total purse is $4 million.
