LIV Golf announces remaining 2025 schedule, including three U.S. locations

The 2025 LIV Golf schedule is complete.

The LIV Golf League announced Tuesday morning the remaining four events for its 2025 schedule, rounding out the 14-event slate that begins next month in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Among the newly announced tournaments include three in the United States, one at a Donald Trump course and a new location for the Team Championship.

The 2025 LIV Golf schedule will feature 14 events in nine countries across four continents. There are six new venues that will host tournaments, including the Individual and Team Championship.

LIV Golf will return to Trump National Doral in Miami the week before the Masters for LIV Golf Miami, April 4-6. Then, the league heads to Mexico City, where it will play at Club de Golf Chapultepec, which hosted the PGA Tour's WGC-Mexico Championship from 2017-20. That LIV event, which will be the league's third straight year in Mexico but first in the nation's capital, is scheduled April 25-27.

After a one-year hiatus, LIV Golf returns to Washington D.C., this time to Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, site of the 2024 Solheim Cup. LIV Golf DC is set for June 6-8, a week before the U.S. Open at Oakmont in Pennsylvania.

Lastly, the league's Team Championship will be contested at The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth, Michigan, at LIV Golf Michigan, Aug. 22-24, scheduled the same weekend as the PGA Tour's Tour Championship. The Cardinal at Saint John's Resort opened in 2024.

“Our global calendar continues to expand with a focus on playing the very best golf courses and delivering a unique and memorable experience for fans,” Ross Hallett, LIV Golf's Executive Vice President and Head of Events, said in a release. “The 2025 slate features courses that have hosted multiple Presidents Cups, the Ryder Cup, and the Solheim Cup, where team golf has shined."

As proven with the early release of the schedule, LIV Golf is going head-to-head against some of the PGA Tour's biggest events, after having avoided that in year's past. This year, the LIV Golf Team Championship is the same weekend as the PGA Tour's Tour Championship. The first four LIV events in Asia and Australia are on the same weekends as some of the PGA Tour's biggest tournaments, as well.

With a new TV deal coming in 2025 with Fox Sports, it will be interesting to see whether there is increased viewership for the league and how ratings are for men's professional golf as a whole after a subpar 2024.
