Sun Day Red pays homage to Tiger Woods' debut with limited edition 'The '92 Collection'
Nick Stavas- Sun Day Red has released a new limited edition collection called "The '92 Collection."
- The collection honors Tiger Woods' professional debut at Riviera Country Club in 1992.
- Key items include a polo, a snapback hat, and a jacket made in collaboration with Starter.
- The apparel features a retro design inspired by what Woods wore, but with modern fabric technology.
Tiger Woods has countless iconic moments throughout his legendary career. From the ace at the 16th in Phoenix to the chip on the 16th green at Augusta, Tiger almost always had something up his sleeve to wow the gallery and the millions watching him around the world.
But before any of that, Tiger was studying and playing video games in his bedroom in Cypress. That's the focus of the newest limited edition release from Sun Day Red, which dropped "The '92 Collection" in honor of Tiger's PGA Tour debut at Riviera Country Club on Feb. 27, 1992, when he was just a sophomore in high school.

The '92 Polo is the centerpiece of the collection, complete with the exact stripe design that Tiger wore nearly 33 years ago, including the iconic navy, red and white colorway. It might look like it's straight out of the time machine, but it doesn't feel like it. This polo is "remastered," so to speak, with Sun Day Red's modern fabric technology, offering a stretchy, breathable feel to keep you comfortable on the course.

The '92 Rope Snapback Hat is one of my favorites in Sun Day Red's '92 Collection. It's outfitted with the same classic colorway as the rest of the release and features the brand's tiger silhouette logo embroidered on the front panel and the numbers 92 on the back. Plus, it's adjustable so you can find the perfect fit.

And if you're really feeling like throwing it back to the 90s, perhaps you'll be interested in the Sun Day Red x Starter '92 Jacket. It's exactly what it sounds like: An authentic Starter jacket that took the 1990s by storm with a design that pays homage to Tiger's debut at Riviera. It doesn't get much more retro and iconic than that.
