While a green jacket is certainly the first priority for all those who play in the Masters, a victory also helps a player's bank account.

On Saturday, Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters announced that this year's purse will total $21 million and that the winner of the 2025 Masters Tournament will receive $4.2 million.

The purse for the year's first major tournament has seen another increase from the previous year. The purse for the 2025 Masters Tournament is up $1 million from last year's purse.

The winner of the 2025 Masters Tournament will win earnings of $4.2 million.

This is $600,000 more than what Scottie Scheffler took home after winning his second green jacket last year, as he won $3.6 million after winning the 2024 Masters Tournament.

The Masters Tournament purse for this year is $21 million, which is a $1 million increase from last year's tournament.
