Chick-fil-A is testing chicken and waffle sandwiches. See where.

Dec. 1, 2025, 3:02 a.m. ET

Chick-fil-A is testing two new chicken-and-waffle sandwiches in two markets beginning Dec. 1.

A company spokesperson confirmed to USA TODAY on Nov. 11 select restaurants in Baltimore will test a Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich and a Chicken & Waffles Sandwich, while some San Antonio restaurants will test the Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich.

The testing period runs from Dec. 1 through Jan. 24, while supplies last, the company told USA TODAY.

Nov. 5 Facebook post by a restaurant in Westminster, Maryland described the "Chicken & Waffles Sandwich" as: "crispy chicken stacked between warm maple waffles, all with a touch of smoked bacon."

The image shared with the post states it will be available with both original and spicy chicken. The breakfast version appears to be slightly smaller in the image and will be available until 10:30 a.m.

Chicken and waffles sandwich announcement comes after holiday menu return

The testing announcement comes shortly after the return of the chicken sandwich seller's holiday menu.

Chick-fil-A added a handful of peppermint-flavored items starting Nov. 10, including its "Peppermint Chip Milkshake," "Peppermint Chip Frosted Coffee," "Peppermint Iced Coffee" and "Icedream with Peppermint Bark Chips." It also added Chicken Tortilla Soup and a 30-piece Nugget meal.

Nov. 10 also saw the launch of Chick-fil-A holiday merchandise in addition to the seasonal menu items. Those offerings include themed wrapping paper, sauce gift boxes, and apparel.
