Tiger Woods is back.

The 15-time major winner quickly took over golf Twitter Friday when he announced he'd be playing in next week's Genesis Invitational at Riveria, an event hosted by his foundation.

Woods' last appearance on the PGA Tour came at the 150th Open at St. Andrews. He's played in a few hit-and-giggles since, including The Match and PNC Championship.

In 13 starts at Riviera, Woods is winless.

Joining him will be world No. 1 Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler and overall, 23 of the top 25 players, and 40 of the top 50, in the Official World Golf Ranking will travel to L.A. There will be 134 players in the field where the purse will be $20 million for the second straight week.
