The former first lady and former model made a rare appearance during her husband's campaign, entering the 2024 Republican National Convention wearing a red Christian Dior suit. News reports show it is a Dior suit that she has owned for seven years.
Though she did not speak at the RNC, Melania Trump sat in the Trump family box next to Donald Trump's running mate JD Vance.

Almost four years ago, during the 2020 Republican National Convention, Melania Trump appeared on the final evening wearing what the internet called a "green screen dress."
It was actually a fluorescent green Valentino spring 2020 pleated-crepe dress featuring a sleeveless A-line silhouette and caped shoulders, finishing the look off with a skinny, dark pink belt, according to Vanity Fair. Headlines and memes varied on the color, describing the dress as lime green, bright green, very green ... Only one commonality seemed to unite all jokes, news reports and TikToks about Melania Trump's 2020 RNC dress: She definitely was easy to spot among the Trump family and the crowd (see photos below).

Melania Trump left White House in a solemn black suit, arrived in Florida in a psychedelic Gucci dress
As she left the White House in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20, 2021, or Inauguration Day for President Joe Biden, first lady Melania Trump donned a sleek black suit. When she stepped off Air Force One at Palm Beach International Airport three hours later, the third Mrs. Trump sported a much more colorful, Florida-style caftan.
"Being your first lady was my greatest honor," Trump said minutes before boarding Air Force One with the former president. "Thank you for your love and your support. You will be (in) my thoughts and prayers, God bless you all. God bless your families, and God bless this beautiful nation."
With her hair in a loose chignon, Melania Trump wore a cropped Chanel jacket over a Dolce & Gabbana black dress along with her Christian Louboutin stilettos and a crocodile Hermes Birkin.
The Trumps opted to skip the Inauguration Day festivities of President Joe Biden and head back to their private beach club Mar-a-Lago instead.
Melania Trump's outfit, a long-sleeve orange, white and navy blue Gucci patterned dress, apparently cost $3,700, according to the designer website.
