  • The winner of the CME Group Tour Championship will receive a $4 million prize from an $11 million total purse.
  • The second-place finisher will earn $1 million, and even the last-place player is guaranteed $55,000.
  • The tournament's total purse is higher than that of three of the LPGA's major championships.

NAPLES, Fla. – For only the second time LPGA history, someone in the field of 60 at the CME Group Tour Championship will earn a $4 million paycheck.

Last year, Jeeno Thitikul took home the first-place prize at Tiburon Golf Club with an eagle-birdie finish. When asked about her biggest splurge, she smiled and said a trip to Disney.

"I don't know, the hotels and everything, I was just like, wow," said Thitikul with a laugh. "They need to working hard to take their kids to Disneyland."

When she got back home to Thailand, the 22-year-old bought a new Mercedes. She'd planned to buy one anyway before she won, but the largest paycheck in women's golf made it easier.

Somi Lee of South Korea signs autographs for young fans after her round during the first round of the CME Group Tour Championship 2025 at Tiburon Golf Club on November 20, 2025 in Naples, Florida.

The player who finishes second this week at the CME earns $1 million while third place is worth $550,000. Anyone who finishes in the top 12 earns at least six figures. The player who finishes last in the field of 60 will earn $55,000.

The total purse of $11 million is higher than the purses of three LPGA majors.

KPMG Women's PGA winner Minjee Lee currently tops the season's money list with $3,822,388 in 21 starts. Thitikul has made $3,578,330 with two victories this season.

A total of 37 players have crossed the $1 million mark in earnings in 2025.

A six-time winner on the LPGA, Thitikul currently ranks 19th on the LPGA's all-time money list with $13,369,400 in only 83 starts. Annika Sorenstam tops the career money list with $22,583,693 in 308 starts (and 72 wins). Lydia Ko, who ranks second with $21,255,018, would have to win her 24th LPGA title this week to overtake Sorenstam.

For perspective on Thitikul's 83 starts, consider that American Cristie Kerr ranks fourth on the all-time list with $20,179,848 in 609 starts. Lorena Ochoa won 27 titles, including two majors, over the course of eight seasons and earned $14,863,331 in 175 starts.

Super mom Juli Inkster has the most starts of anyone in the top 20 with 717. Inkster won 45 titles, including seven majors, and earned $14,018,391.
