The 3M Open returns to Minnesota for a seventh season this week. TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, a 7,431-yard track, is the host venue. It was one of the many golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer.

The 3M is the second-to-last PGA Tour event of the regular season. It's therefore one of the last chances for golfers vying for a top-70 spot in the FedEx Cup Playoffs standings.

Jhonattan Vegas returns as the defending champion. There are a slew of golfers around the top-70 cutoff in the 3M field, including Emiliano Grillo, Keith Mitchell, Erik van Rooyen, Kevin Roy, Davis Thompson, Ben An and Matti Schmid.

3M and the PGA Tour announced in February a five-year extension of the title sponsorship through 2030.
