Viewing guide to golf's silly season for Hero, Grant Thornton, PNC

All the official events on the major golf circuits are done for the year. There are no more tournaments to be won, no more official money to be banked.

But, oh dear golf fans, there's still going to be plenty of live golf to watch. For example, we just got to see the revival of the Skins Game on Amazon Prime Video.

As for what's to come, here's a look at the Silly Season events for the rest of the 2025 calendar year.

Who's in the field: The 32-player field featues 19 of the top 50 in the world from the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour. Each team will feature one player from each tour.

PNC Championship

Where: Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando

When: Dec. 20-21

Where to watch: Golf Channel, Peacock, NBC

Defending champions: The duo of Bernhard Langer and Jason Langer come into 2025 as the two-time defending champs. That twosome also won it in 2019 and 2025. Bernhard also won the PNC in 2005 and 2006 with son Stefan.

Who's in the field: To qualify for the PNC Championship, players must have won a major championship or The Players Championship. Their partner must not hold any playing status on a professional Tour. There will be 20 pros in all and 17 of the spots have been claimed.
