Tiger Woods is set to tee it up next week at the Genesis Invitational. The event is held annually at Riviera Country Club, but Torrey Pines' South Course will be the host venue in 2025 due to the recent wildfires that swept through the Los Angeles area. Woods has won eight times at Torrey Pines, including the legendary 2008 U.S. Open.

The 15-time major champion played in just five events last season and hasn't played on Tour since the British Open. He underwent another back surgery in September of last year and had this to say at the Hero World Challenge in December: "I'm not tournament sharp yet. I'm still not there. These are 20 of the best players in the world and I'm not sharp enough to compete against them at this level. So when I'm ready to compete and play at this level, then I will."

Woods played in the PNC Championship with his son, Charlie, two months ago, losing to Team Langer in a playoff. He walked all 36 holes despite a golf cart being available. He's also made two TGL appearances since the league's debut in January.

This will be Woods' first public appearance since losing his mother earlier this week.
