This LPGA player had to get creative to stop mid-round nosebleed at the Chevron

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – As if weather delays and major championship pressure weren't enough to deal at the 2025 Chevron Championship, Manon De Roey had the extra stress of a mid-round nosebleed.

"I think it's just with the heat," De Roey told Golf Channel. "From inside the cold air-conditioning and outside the heat. I had it a few times in the course in the past. ... I don't know if I should say this, but I just had a tampon in my bag so I put it up.

"That's the only thing I had."

While that's something the Belgian certainly won't forget about the day, neither will she forgot the eagle putt she drained on the 13th at the Nicklaus Course.

"I got a bit off to a slow start," said De Roey, "but then I know I can take advantage of the par 5s here so I was really looking forward to 13."

De Roey sits at 5 under for the tournament after rounds of 68-71 and sits two back of leader Yan Liu.
