Power outage disrupts TV coverage of 2025 Zurich Classic in New Orleans

Updated April 27, 2025, 4:41 p.m. ET

Final-round of the 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans is back.

A power outage at TPC Louisiana affected TV coverage during the final round of the PGA Tour's only team event. Golf Channel went off air and pivoted to coverage of the Mitsubishi Electric Classic about 2:30 p.m. ET when the issue started in Louisiana. Then, when coverage shifted to CBS at 3 p.m. ET, the issue had not been resolved, and CBS chose to show footage from the final round last year.

ESPN+ is showing early coverage from the final round.

At 3:42 p.m. ET, play was suspended for inclement weather. But the TV issue had yet to be fixed.

At 4:37 p.m. ET, CBS' Andrew Catalon announced the TV compound had power again, and the tournament TV resumed. Play will also resume at 5:15 p.m. ET.
