The year 2024 is a milestone when it comes to the Hero World Challenge.

Tiger Woods' silly-season event, which began in 2000 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, will be held for the 25th time this week at Albany Golf Club in Nassau, Bahamas. The field of 20 players includes some of the best in the world, including world No. 1 and defending champion Scottie Scheffler.

The event has been contested at four different courses, though its home has been in the Bahamas since 2015. The field was also increased to 20 players in 2021.
