SOUTHAMPTON, Bermuda — It's getting down to crunch time for many PGA Tour players.
For some, the weekend awaits at Port Royal Golf Course in the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship, but there are many who are packing up and getting ready to head back to the United States. And the bigger story? Many of them are fighting to keep their PGA Tour card.
After next week's RSM Classic, those outside of the top 100 in the FedEx Cup standings will find themselves losing their Tour card and having to earn it back either at Q-School or the Korn Ferry Tour. And many players on the bubble found themselves heading home early.
The cut won't officially come until Saturday morning when the second round is officially complete, but the cut line is set.
Here's a look at the notables who missed the cut in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship:
Notables to miss cut at Butterfield Bermuda Championship
David Lipsky

Lipsky sat at No. 101 heading into the week and dropped to No. 104, finishing at 1 over to miss the cut by one shot.
Matt Wallace

Wallace is now the ultimate bubble boy. He'll be at No. 100 in the standings heading into the RSM Classic, needing a good week to ensure he keeps his card.
Victor Perez

A 2-under 69 on Friday wasn't enough to overcome a 3-over total on Thursday, and Perez misses the cut by one and drops six spots to 110th in the standings heading to RSM.
Justin Lower

Lower entered the week at No. 108 and dropped to No. 113, finishing at 3 over. He finished T-3 in Utah but missed his 15th cut in 28 starts this season.
Taylor Moore

Moore has played every fall event, making three cuts and missing three, but he also drops five spots from 109 to 114.
Beau Hossler

An opening 77 doomed Hossler, who drops from inside the top 100 to one spot out at No. 101. To retain his card, he'll have to make the cut and then some next week.
Danny Walker

Walker is in the danger zone. He's at No. 96 in the points but dropped three spots next week. A made cut would almost guarantee he keeps his card.
Luke Clanton

Clanton misses his fourth cut since turning pro, not finding the same success he had earlier in the year. However, he doesn't have to worry about his card, as he's exempt through next year.
