Professional golfer John Daly was the crowd's favorite, despite loosing to Vijay Singh by one stroke in the Buick Open on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at the Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc. The crowd could be heard shouting "Daly for president!" on several occasions.
